Our Story

The coming together of seemingly distant parties, to form MAZE Wines, is a story in itself.

The opportunity was created through the fortuitous meeting of Paul McSharry and Mark Herold before the harvest of 2009. Through a shared belief that in sourcing exceptional fruit from every corner of the Napa Valley, and using 100% the finest French Oak barrels, MAZE Wines was created.

The experience we have gained through years spent working on the production of extraordinary wines, has given us an appreciation of those vineyards producing the valley’s highest quality fruit.

We are delighted to say we have been given the opportunity to include exactly these vineyards in our MAZE wines. In the end though, we believe the ongoing story of MAZE will truly be written by you the consumer, through your support for our philosophy, and the enjoyment of our wines.
