One-hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stagecoach vineyard, aged in 100% new French oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon has a very deep garnet-purple color and offers a vibrant black cherry, redcurrant and black berry-scented nose with an undercurrent of cassis, oolong tea, fragrant soil and bay leaves plus a waft of lilacs. The palate is full-bodied with a fantastically firm frame of ripe grainy tannins and amazing tension with the taut, muscular fruit, finishing very long and layered. 695 casesproduced. 96 Points

Jean Smullen Reviews Maze Sauvignon Blanc

“The Maze Sauvignon Blanc was INCREDIBLE.. mineral nose.. lots of ripe tropical fruit, lush and beautiful and not too acidic.. it really rocked!!! Very very elegant, incredibly classy. The fruit was so soft and appealing. SB is an acidic enough grape, but the acidity was not at all apparent. it was so unlike NZ Sauvignon Blanc which I am used to because I work for the Kiwis, your MAZE is ripe and full bodied.. really great. A stunning wine!”

Winnie Bowman Reviews Maze

“The ‘special’ meal where I could show off your wines happened on the weekend! We were all blown away by the beautiful and pristine quality in both – lovely clean flavours, gorgeous varietal expression and structure with healthy bouncy fruit. Both wines were a joy to drink and went perfectly with and without food. Just loved both – well done!”
